V-label
Founded in 1996 in Switzerland, V-label is an internationally recognized and protected trademark for vegetarian and vegan products and services.
With more than 25 years of experience in product licensing, V-label is granted to products made in accordance with vegetarian and vegan ethics. Its primary goal is to enable consumers to easily identify products without ingredients of animal origin, as well as establishments where they can consume such products.
V-label has become the most recognizable and most used vegan and vegetarian symbol around the world, which is also indicated by the fact that many internationally known companies such as Unilever, DM, SPAR, Lidl, Rauch, Kaufland, Starbucks, Nestle and others have also introduced the V-label on their products. Currently, more than 50,000 products in the world carry the V-label.
Consumers of products with the V-label are not only vegans and vegetarians, but all people who for health, ecological or religious reasons do not consume foods of animal origin, i.e. they want to try products of plant origin and those who for any other reason want to introduce more of such products into their diet, regardless of their eating habits.
Companies that carry the V-label offer consumers a transparent, verified and controlled product that inspires confidence and is accessible to everyone. The V-label not only guarantees that a certain product is vegan or vegetarian, but also confirms that the production of that product is in accordance with vegan and vegetarian ethical principles.
Animal Friends Croatia is the representative of the V-label in Croatia, where over 350 products of domestic production carry the V-label. Our Association has many years of experience in the licensing of food and cosmetic products and catering establishments.
