Donation on our website is safe! We use the Web Studio payment gateway Internet billing service, which uses state-of-the-art anti-abuse technologies, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security protocol with at least 128-bit data encryption, and other technologies and security procedures to the highest standards.
The exchange of sensitive data between the online payment system and the authorization centers of card companies is done using a virtual private network (VPN) that is completely protected from unauthorized access. Sensitive credit card information is submitted online directly to the authorization center. You can tell that secure communication has been established between your computer and the server by the fact that a small padlock icon will appear at the bottom of your Internet browser. If you hover your mouse over the padlock, 'SSL Secured' will appear, as well as the encryption level used (128-bit).
Animal Friends Croatia is committed to protecting the privacy of all our donors. We collect only the necessary, basic information about donors and inform them about how we use them. We regularly give donors a choice about the use of their data, including the ability to decide whether or not they want their name removed from the lists used for campaigns. All user data is strictly kept safe and is available only to members of the Association who need this data to do their job. All members of Animal Friends and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy.
